Gislaveds IS

Gislaveds IS was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Gislaveds IS, 221 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Gislaveds IS could be found in Group 39 together with Alnö IF, Linköpings FF and Maryland United FC. Gislaveds IS continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 39. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Keflavik 1 with 1-4. In the Final, Stjarnan 1 won over IFK Haninge and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Gislaveds IS comes from Gislaved which lies approximately 110 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gislaved does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (RÅs LB, Skillingaryds IS, Dalstorp/Limmared/Grimsås and IFK Värnamo).
