Rynninge IK

Rynninge IK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Rynninge IK, 94 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Rynninge IK could be found in Group 19 together with Jitex Mölndal BK 1, Nacka FC and Alliance Soccer Academy. Rynninge IK made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 19. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Lillestrøm SK with 0-2. Thereby Rynninge IK finished second in G14 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2019. Rynninge comes from Örebro which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Örebro does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Arboga Södra IF, KIF Örebro DFF, Rävåsens IK, Örebro SK, Adolfsbergs IK, BK Forward, Lillån FK and Karlslunds IF HFK).
