Owatonna Fusion

Owatonna Fusion was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Owatonna Fusion, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Owatonna Fusion could be found in Group 7 together with RÅs LB, Viborg Q, Stocksunds IF and FC Rosengård. Owatonna Fusion continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Kragerø IF with 1-6. In the Final, Jitex Mölndal BK won over Triangelns IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Owatonna Fusion comes from Owatonna which lies approximately 6800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
