MTV Gifhorn

MTV Gifhorn was one of 56 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to MTV Gifhorn, 154 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 38 different groups, whereof MTV Gifhorn could be found in Group 33 together with Phoenix Football Academy, IS Halmia and Lillestrøm SK 1. MTV Gifhorn continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Tölö IF with 0-2. In the Final, BK Häcken 1 won over Russell Martin Academy and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Gifhorn comes from Gifhorn which lies approximately 560 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
