Bjäre United

Bjäre United was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Bjäre United, 173 other teams from 24 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof Bjäre United could be found in Group 36 together with SoCal United, BV Werther and Mariehem SK Green. Bjäre United continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 36. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FK Karlskrona with 0-2. In the Final, Toledo Celtics won over Phoenix Football Academy and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Bjäre United comes from Västra Karup which lies approximately 160 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västra Karup does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Hittarps IK, Munka-Ljungby IF, BK Astrio, Helsingborgs IF, Västra Karups iF, Förslövs IF, Halmstads BK, Vejby IF, Hasslövs IS/Skottorp and HGH Halmstad).
