Ersmarks IK

Ersmarks IK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Ersmarks IK, 171 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Ersmarks IK could be found in Group 25 together with Regents Park FC, Intercups MX and Qviding FIF. Ersmarks IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against CD Aguilas San Aquilino with 0-2. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over SKF Latvia and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Ersmarks IK also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/32 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against Kulladals FF 1 with 2-4. Ersmarks comes from Umeå which lies approximately 820 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Umeå does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Gimonäs Umeå IF, Umeå Södra FF, Ersmarks IK/IFK Umeå, Mariehem SK, Sandviks IK, IFK Umeå, Umeå IK FF, Umedalens IF and Sandåkerns SK).
