Vankiva IF

Vankiva IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Vankiva IF, 173 other teams from 24 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof Vankiva IF could be found in Group 21 together with Stångebro United, Alliance FC and Hutchison Vale. Vankiva IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Phoenix Football Academy with 0-3. In the Final, Toledo Celtics won over Phoenix Football Academy and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Vankiva comes from Hässleholm which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hässleholm does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Vinslövs IF, IFK Osby, Hässleholms IF, Råstorp/Timsfors IF, Kristianstad FC, Wisseltofta IF, Markaryds IF, IFK Hässleholm, Hörby FF and Kristianstads DFF).
