Hofors AIF

Hofors AIF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Hofors AIF, 110 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Hofors AIF could be found in Group 15 together with Landvetter IF, KFUM - Oslo and Råstorp/Timsfors IF. Hofors AIF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Selånger FK with 0-4. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Sundsvalls DFF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Hofors AIF comes from Hofors which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hofors does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Sandvikens IF, Sandvikens AIK and Högbo AIK).
