Billesholms IK

Billesholms IK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Billesholms IK, 110 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Billesholms IK could be found in Group 12 together with Go-Pro Sports, Boo FF and Piteå IF 1. Billesholms IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Håbo FF with 0-1. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Sundsvalls DFF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Billesholms comes from Billesholm which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Billesholm does also provide 52 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: IFK Lidingö FK, Danderyds SK, Tyresö FF, IFK Österåker, Gustavsbergs IF, Boo FF, IFK Haninge, Älvsjö AIK FF, BK Sport Mix and Vasastan BK).
