Svedala IF

Svedala IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Svedala IF, 171 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Svedala IF could be found in Group 39 together with Älta IF Svart, Phoenix Football Academy and Sarpsborg FK. Svedala IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 39. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Mindset FC with 0-1. In the Final, Phoenix Football Club won over Beirut FAC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Svedala comes from Svedala which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Svedala does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Dalby GIF, Staffanstorps United, Kulladals FF, FC Staffanstorp, IF Lödde, Eslövs BK, Lunds BK, LB07, Lindeborgs FF 1948 and IFK Klagshamn).
