Skultuna IS

Skultuna IS was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Skultuna IS, 88 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Skultuna IS could be found in Group 17 together with Lambertseter IF, Volsungur and Färjestadens GoIF. Skultuna IS continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Nordhordland BK with 1-2. In the Final, Jitex Mölndal BK won over Triangelns IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Skultuna IS comes from Västerås which lies approximately 340 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västerås does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Västerås BK30, Västerås IK, Syrianska Eskilstuna IF, Fanna BK, BK Sport, Skiljebo SK, Eskilstuna United DFF, Jäders IF, Eskilstuna City FK and Forsby FF).
