Stureby SK

Stureby SK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Stureby SK, 94 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Stureby SK could be found in Group 10 together with Rödsle BK, Club Reforma and Lillehammer KFK 1. Stureby SK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against LAZ Stockerau with 0-2. In the Final, Södra Sandby IF won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Stureby SK comes from Enskede which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Enskede does also provide 51 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: IFK Lidingö FK, Danderyds SK, Tyresö FF, IFK Österåker, Gustavsbergs IF, Boo FF, IFK Haninge, Älvsjö AIK FF, BK Sport Mix and Vasastan BK).
