Göteborgs DFF

Göteborgs DFF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Göteborgs DFF, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Göteborgs DFF could be found in Group 1 together with Bollnäs GIF, TSC Wellingsbüttel and Academy Elite. Göteborgs DFF made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Vålerenga Fotball, which they won with 2-0. Thereby Göteborgs DFF won the entire Play off A in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2019. Göteborgs DFF also participated in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in G18 Play off A, but lost it against FC Djursholm with 6-7. Göteborgs DFF originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 76 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Öjersjö IF, FC West, Eriksbergs IF, Donsö IS, IK Kongahälla, Ösets BK, Guldhedens IK, Öckerö IF, Södra Skärgården IK and Kärra Dragons).
