IFK Valla

IFK Valla was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to IFK Valla, 53 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof IFK Valla could be found in Group 5 together with Marin FC 2, Lerums IS and Enskede IK. IFK Valla continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Uppåkra IF with 1-7. In the Final, IFK Fjärås won over Walddörfer SV and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. IFK Valla comes from Tjörn which lies approximately 35 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tjörn does also provide 35 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: IK Kongahälla, Öckerö IF, Kärra Dragons, Backatorp IF, Orust FC, Ytterby IS, Hisingsbacka FC, KF Velebit, Torslanda IK and Utbynäs SK).
