Skärhamns IK

Skärhamns IK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Skärhamns IK, 162 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Skärhamns IK could be found in Group 1 together with Prep Schools Lions Indigo, Makati FC and IF Brommapojkarna Svart. Skärhamns IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Prep Schools Lions Red with 0-4. In the Final, LAZ Stockerau won over Jönköpings Södra IF Grön and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Skärhamns comes from Skärhamn which lies approximately 35 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skärhamn does also provide 30 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Eriksbergs IF, IK Kongahälla, Öckerö IF, Kärra Dragons, Backatorp IF, Orust FC, Ytterby IS, KF Velebit, Torslanda IK and Stala IF).
