Näsets SK/IF Väster

Näsets SK/IF Väster was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Näsets SK/IF Väster, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Näsets SK/IF Väster could be found in Group 4 together with Umedalens IF, Wizard SC and Vålerenga Fotball. Näsets SK/IF Väster continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 0-2. In the Final, Göteborgs DFF won over Vålerenga Fotball and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Näsets SK/IF Väster comes from Västra Frölunda which lies approximately 14 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västra Frölunda does also provide 74 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Öjersjö IF, FC West, Eriksbergs IF, Donsö IS, IK Kongahälla, Ösets BK, Guldhedens IK, Öckerö IF, Södra Skärgården IK and Kärra Dragons).
