Öckerö IF

Öckerö IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Öckerö IF, 94 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Öckerö IF could be found in Group 11 together with Skiljebo SK, IFK Lidingö FK, Lillehammer KFK 2 and Makati FC. Öckerö IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Alingsås KIK with 5-6. In the Final, Södra Sandby IF won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Öckerö comes from Öckerö which lies approximately 11 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Öckerö does also provide 74 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Öjersjö IF, FC West, Eriksbergs IF, Donsö IS, IK Kongahälla, Ösets BK, Guldhedens IK, Södra Skärgården IK, Kärra Dragons and Stenkullen GoIK).
