Lundby IF

Lundby IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Lundby IF, 173 other teams from 24 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof Lundby IF could be found in Group 4 together with IF Brommapojkarna 1, Walddörfer SV and Pequeninos do Jockey B. Lundby IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Solängens BK with 2-5. In the Final, Toledo Celtics won over Phoenix Football Academy and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Lundby originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 81 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Öjersjö IF, FC West, Eriksbergs IF, Donsö IS, IK Kongahälla, Ösets BK, Guldhedens IK, Öckerö IF, Södra Skärgården IK and Kärra Dragons).
