Holmalunds IF

Holmalunds IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Holmalunds IF, 162 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Holmalunds IF could be found in Group 25 together with DKI Jakarta, Mahlsdorf-Waldesruh, B-W and V. Ingelstad IS. Holmalunds IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Intercups MX with 0-2. In the Final, LAZ Stockerau won over Jönköpings Södra IF Grön and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Holmalunds comes from Alingsås which lies approximately 41 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Alingsås does also provide 37 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Öjersjö IF, IK Kongahälla, Kärra Dragons, Stenkullen GoIK, IF Elfsborg, Ytterby IS, Utbynäs SK, Jonsereds IF, Romelanda UF and Partille IF).
