Lödöse Nygård IK

Lödöse Nygård IK was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Lödöse Nygård IK, 53 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Lödöse Nygård IK could be found in Group 1 together with Mölndal Fotboll, IFK Österåker and SKF Canada. Lödöse Nygård IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Alviks IK with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Fjärås won over Walddörfer SV and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. Lödöse Nygård comes from Lödöse which lies approximately 35 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lödöse does also provide 49 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Öjersjö IF, IK Kongahälla, Kärra Dragons, Stenkullen GoIK, IF Elfsborg, Backatorp IF, Orust FC, Ytterby IS, Hisingsbacka FC and Utbynäs SK).
