Kungsbacka DFF

Kungsbacka DFF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Kungsbacka DFF, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Kungsbacka DFF could be found in Group 14 together with Helgerød/Gøif, Asarums IF/FK and IF Elfsborg. Kungsbacka DFF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Jitex Mölndal BK with 1-5. In the Final, Göteborgs DFF won over Vålerenga Fotball and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Kungsbacka DFF also participated in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2018. They won Play off A, after beating FC Djursholm in the final with 3-2. Kungsbacka DFF comes from Kungsbacka which lies approximately 49 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungsbacka does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Donsö IS, Lindome GIF, Kållered SK, Askims IK, Kullavik IF, IFK Fjärås, Tölö IF, Mölnlycke IF, Fässbergs IF and Skene IF).
