Eriksbergs IF

Eriksbergs IF was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Eriksbergs IF, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Eriksbergs IF could be found in Group 11 together with Linghem SK/Tallboda IF, ATSV Scharmbeckstotel, IFK Västerås FK and United FC. Eriksbergs IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Team Odense Q with 1-4. In the Final, Göteborgs DFF won over Vålerenga Fotball and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Eriksbergs IF also participated in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in G18 Play off A, but lost it against FC Djursholm with 0-2. Eriksbergs originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 77 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Öjersjö IF, FC West, Donsö IS, IK Kongahälla, Ösets BK, Guldhedens IK, Öckerö IF, Södra Skärgården IK, Kärra Dragons and Stenkullen GoIK).
