KF Velebit

KF Velebit was one of 402 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2019. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to KF Velebit, 162 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof KF Velebit could be found in Group 15 together with F.C. Beirut, Helsingborg City FC and Prep Schools Lions Maroon. KF Velebit continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Russell Martin Academy with 5-7. In the Final, Ordin FC won over FC Saint Cloud and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. KF Velebit originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 74 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2019 (Among others: Öjersjö IF, FC West, Eriksbergs IF, Donsö IS, IK Kongahälla, Ösets BK, Guldhedens IK, Öckerö IF, Södra Skärgården IK and Kärra Dragons).
