Jonsereds IF

Jonsereds IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Jonsereds IF, 148 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Jonsereds IF could be found in Group 37 together with Guldhedens IK, Burnley College FA and SK Sprint-Jeløy 1. Jonsereds IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 37. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Kungsängens IF with 1-4. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Windsor FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Jonsereds comes from Partille which lies approximately 7 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Partille does also provide 75 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: IK Zenith, Alingsås IF, Kareby/Kode, Kållered SK, Askims IK, Onsala BK, Bollebygds IF, Ytterby IS, Lunden-Överås BK and Särö IK).
