Skene IF

Skene IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Skene IF, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Skene IF could be found in Group 41 together with Lillestrøm SK 1, JSC Pitray-Olier Paris Blue and FC Nordost Berlin. Skene IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 41. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Dalen/KFF with 0-3. In the Final, FC Chambly won over Glumslövs FF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Skene comes from Skene which lies approximately 50 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skene does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Kållered SK, Onsala BK, Bollebygds IF, Sjömarken/Sandareds IF, HUS, Kungsbacka DFF, Svenljunga IK, IF Elfsborg, Mölnlycke IF and IFK Fjärås).
