IFK Uddevalla

IFK Uddevalla was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in SEF Trophy. In addition to IFK Uddevalla, 35 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof IFK Uddevalla could be found in Group 9 together with Malmö FF, GIF Sundsvall and Karlslunds IF HFK. IFK Uddevalla continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Örgryte IS with 2-6. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over Örebro SK and became the winner of Play off B in SEF Trophy. IFK Uddevalla comes from Uddevalla which lies approximately 70 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uddevalla does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Vänersborgs IF, Stenungsunds IF, Orust Fotboll, Vänersborgs FK, Halvorstorps IS/Trollhättans FK, Stala IF, Groheds IF/Ljungskile SK, Herrestads AIF and Trollhättans FK).
