Kinna IF

Kinna IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Kinna IF, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Kinna IF could be found in Group 28 together with Phoenix Football Academy, Gamla Upsala SK and Oppsal IF 2. Kinna IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 28. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against SKF Indonesia with 1-2. In the Final, AP Top 54 won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Kinna IF also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in B14 Play off A, but lost it against Bollstanäs SK 1 with 0-2. Kinna comes from KINNA which lies approximately 52 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around KINNA does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Bollebygds IF, Sjömarken/Sandareds IF, HUS, Svenljunga IK, IF Elfsborg, IFK Fjärås, IFK Örby, Norrby IF, Långared BoIS and Tranemo IF).
