PLAYR Academy

PLAYR Academy was one of 35 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to PLAYR Academy, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof PLAYR Academy could be found in Group 7 together with Viggbyholms IK FF, Villa Park and Rödeby AIF. PLAYR Academy made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Ryerson SC West with 2-3. Thereby PLAYR Academy finished second in B16 Play off A during Gothia Cup 2018. PLAYR Academy comes from London which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
