Strikers North

Strikers North was one of 44 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Strikers North, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Strikers North could be found in Group 27 together with Eskilsminne IF, IFK Kumla and F.C. Beirut. Strikers North continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Kållered SK with 2-4. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Strikers North comes from Chino Hills which lies approximately 8800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Strikers North, the club SGV Surf Soccer Club does also originate from the area around Chino Hills.
