CA Intercups Mexico

CA Intercups Mexico was one of 13 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to CA Intercups Mexico, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof CA Intercups Mexico could be found in Group 11 together with SKF Zambia, Mantorps FF and Avesta AIK. CA Intercups Mexico continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Stugsunds IK with 0-1. In the Final, FC Chambly won over Glumslövs FF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. CA Intercups Mexico also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/32 Final in B14 Play off A, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 1-2. CA Intercups Mexico comes from MEXICO CITY which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MEXICO CITY does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Mexico Elite FC, CLUB REFORMA, Intercups MX, A.S. México, Halcones Mexico, Paris-Jilo and Santos Laguna CDMX).
