Kauai Brasil

Kauai Brasil was one of 13 clubs from Brazil that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Kauai Brasil, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Kauai Brasil could be found in Group 43 together with BK Sport, Soltau, MTV and Västerås SK Ungdom 2. Kauai Brasil continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 43. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HK 1 with 0-4. In the Final, Ryerson SC West won over PLAYR Academy and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Kauai Brasil comes from São Paulo which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around São Paulo does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Jockey Club de Rosario, BRFC, Clube Campo Belo, Audax, SKF Brazil, Ordin FC, Gideao Soccer, Euro Sports Brasil, Pequeninos do Jockey and E.C. Pinheiros).
