Comude Zapopan

Comude Zapopan was one of 13 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Comude Zapopan, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Comude Zapopan could be found in Group 9 together with Florø SK, FC EUROPA Football Academy and Staffanstorp United 2. Comude Zapopan continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Frövi IK with 0-2. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Comude Zapopan comes from Aguascalientes, Mexico which lies approximately 9300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
