Sigtuna IF

Sigtuna IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Sigtuna IF, 195 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Sigtuna IF could be found in Group 46 together with South Dartmoor CC, IL Runar 2 and Kungsbacka IF. Sigtuna IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 46. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IL Runar 1 with 0-1. In the Final, S. Lanzarote won over Sangre Chilena FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Sigtuna comes from Sigtuna which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sigtuna does also provide 49 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Sunnersta AIF, Storvreta IK, IF Brommapojkarna, Kungsängens IF, IF VP/UIF, BK Sport Mix, FK Bromma, IFK Aspudden-Tellus, Gröndals IK and Upsala IF).
