TikiTaka Academy

TikiTaka Academy was the only club from Nigeria that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Gothia Trophy (B17). In addition to TikiTaka Academy, 35 other teams from 12 different countries played in Gothia Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof TikiTaka Academy could be found in Group 5 together with IF Brommapojkarna, IF Elfsborg and CCL Soccer Club. TikiTaka Academy made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against FC Cavalier, which they won with 2-0. Thereby TikiTaka Academy won the entire Play off B in Gothia Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2018. TikiTaka Academy also participated in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the final in Play off A, but lost it against Right to Dream with 0-1 and ended up in second place. The area around does also provide 73 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: IK Zenith, Kareby/Kode, Kållered SK, Askims IK, Onsala BK, Bollebygds IF, Ytterby IS, Lunden-Överås BK, Särö IK and V. Frölunda IF).
