FC Nordsjælland

FC Nordsjælland was one of 10 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Gothia Trophy (G17). In addition to FC Nordsjælland, 15 other teams from 7 different countries played in Gothia Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof FC Nordsjælland could be found in Group 1 together with Kristianstads DFF, AIK FF and Tokyo Verdy. FC Nordsjælland continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Sant Gabriel, CE with 4-5. In the Final, Sant Gabriel, CE won over Umeå IK FF and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Trophy (G17). FC Nordsjælland comes from Farum which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Farum does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: ISS Skævinge, Fortuna FF, Hittarps IK, Glumslövs FF, Eskilsminne IF, Jyllinge FC, Helsingborgs IF, Kona Crush, Kullavägens BK and Råå IF).
