Torns IF

Torns IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Torns IF, 195 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Torns IF could be found in Group 24 together with Prep Schools Pumas Red, SKF Brazil, Älvsborg FF and Ängby IF. Torns IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Prep Schools Lions Green with 0-1. In the Final, S. Lanzarote won over Sangre Chilena FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Torns IF also participated in Boys 13 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/32 Final in B13 Play off B, but lost it against Sävedalens IF 2 with 0-1. Torns comes from Lund which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 29 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Husie IF, LB07, Trollenäs IF, Hörby FF, Fortuna FF, Hyllie IK, Glumslövs FF, IF Lödde, Bjärreds IF and V. Ingelstad IS).
