SKF Turkey

SKF Turkey was one of three clubs from Türkiye that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to SKF Turkey, 68 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof SKF Turkey could be found in Group 1 together with CLUB REFORMA, Bengtsfors IF and Djurgårdens IF. SKF Turkey continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against AIK FF with 0-12. In the Final, Kristianstads DFF won over Medkila IL and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. SKF Turkey comes from istanbul which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than SKF Turkey, the club Galatasaray Lisesi does also originate from the area around istanbul.
