Juventus Academy

Juventus Academy was the only club from Saudi Arabia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Juventus Academy, 148 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Juventus Academy could be found in Group 30 together with Hisingsbacka FC, Möre BK and Oppsal IF 1. Juventus Academy continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Trosa-Vagnhärad SK with 0-2. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Windsor FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Juventus Academy comes from Khobar which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Khobar does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Carpe Diem FC, Josh Evans Soccer School, Ryan FC, Islington Borough Ladies Football Club, Most Wanted Elite, St Joseph's Youth 88 FC, RC Lens London, Windsor FC, Regents Park FC and Kinetic Academy).
