Gävle GIK/FK

Gävle GIK/FK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Gävle GIK/FK, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Gävle GIK/FK could be found in Group 17 together with FC Este 2012, Lira BK and St. Paul Blackhawks Red. Gävle GIK/FK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against E.C. Pinheiros Futebol Base with 0-1. In the Final, FC Chambly won over Glumslövs FF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Gävle GIK/FK comes from Gävle which lies approximately 440 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gävle does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Sandvikens AIK, Norrham IF, Sandvikens IF, Hille IF, Högbo AIK and Bk Legend).
