German FA

German FA was one of 8 clubs from United Arab Emirates that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to German FA, 187 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof German FA could be found in Group 6 together with Tranås FF, SK Djerv 1919 and Guldhedens IK. German FA continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Östansbo IS with 1-4. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. German FA comes from Dubai which lies approximately 5000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dubai does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Go-Pro Sports, Sport 4 All, Desert Rangers Dubai and Precor FC Dubai).
