Team Viborg

Team Viborg was one of 10 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Team Viborg, 97 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Team Viborg could be found in Group 3 together with Norrham IF, Danmarks IF and Post-Sportverein München. Team Viborg continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Enskede IK 2 with 6-7. In the Final, Tiller 1 won over Valur and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Team Viborg comes from Viborg which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
