Albatroz SC

Albatroz SC was one of three clubs from Latvia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Albatroz SC, 195 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Albatroz SC could be found in Group 47 together with Ulricehamns IFK, Hyllie IK and Soltau, MTV. Albatroz SC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 47. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Stjarnan 1 with 0-3. In the Final, AP Top 54 won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Albatroz comes from Riga which lies approximately 740 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Albatroz SC, the club SKF Latvia does also originate from the area around Riga.
