Hanoi Football Club

Hanoi Football Club was the only club from Vietnam that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Hanoi Football Club, 168 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof Hanoi Football Club could be found in Group 2 together with Prep Schools Lions Maroon, IFK Aspudden-Tellus 1 and Onsala BK 2. Hanoi Football Club continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Walddörfer SV 2 with 0-2. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over Upsala IF 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Hanoi Football comes from Hanoi which lies approximately 8300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
