Fagersta Södra IK

Fagersta Södra IK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Fagersta Södra IK, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Fagersta Södra IK could be found in Group 46 together with FC Internacional, Moss FK and IFK Vaxholm. Fagersta Södra IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 46. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Store Bergan IL with 0-2. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Fagersta Södra comes from Fagersta which lies approximately 340 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Fagersta does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Avesta AIK, Ludvika FK, Västanfors IF and Östansbo IS).
