Ottestad IL

Ottestad IL was one of 56 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Ottestad IL, 68 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Ottestad IL could be found in Group 5 together with Mantorps FF, Gideonsbergs IF and Kvarnsvedens IK. Ottestad IL continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Donn, FK with 1-3. In the Final, Kungsbacka DFF won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Ottestad comes from Ottestad which lies approximately 340 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Ottestad IL, the club FK Gjøvik-Lyn does also originate from the area around Ottestad.
