Varbergs BoIS FC

Varbergs BoIS FC was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in SEF Trophy. In addition to Varbergs BoIS FC, 35 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Varbergs BoIS FC could be found in Group 3 together with AFC Eskilstuna, Jarlabergs IF and IK Sirius FK. Varbergs BoIS FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Jönköpings Södra IF with 3-5. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over Örebro SK and became the winner of Play off B in SEF Trophy. Varbergs BoIS FC also participated in Boys 15 Swe during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in B15S Play off A, but lost it against Halmstads BK with 1-2. Varbergs BoIS FC comes from Varberg which lies approximately 75 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Varberg does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Tofta GiF, Kungsbacka DFF, Åsa IF and Varbergs GIF FK).
