IFK Vaxholm

IFK Vaxholm was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IFK Vaxholm, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof IFK Vaxholm could be found in Group 46 together with FC Internacional, Moss FK and Fagersta Södra IK. IFK Vaxholm continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 46. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against HK 2 with 1-2. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. IFK Vaxholm also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/64 Final in B15 Play off B, but lost it against Kramfors-Alliansen with 1-2. IFK Vaxholm comes from Vaxholm which lies approximately 410 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vaxholm does also provide 55 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Ingarö IF, Saltsjöbadens IF, Storvreta IK, IF Brommapojkarna, Sickla IF, Sörskogens IF, Älta IF, Hanvikens SK, IFK Haninge and Kungsängens IF).
