Bengtsfors IF

Bengtsfors IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Bengtsfors IF, 68 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Bengtsfors IF could be found in Group 1 together with CLUB REFORMA, Djurgårdens IF and SKF Turkey. Bengtsfors IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Minnesota Thunder Academy 2 with 0-3. In the Final, Kungsbacka DFF won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Bengtsfors comes from Bengtsfors which lies approximately 140 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Bengtsfors IF, the club Eds FF does also originate from the area around Bengtsfors.
