ASEC

ASEC was the only club from the Ivory Coast that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Gothia Trophy (B17). In addition to ASEC, 35 other teams from 12 different countries played in Gothia Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof ASEC could be found in Group 1 together with AIK FF, IFK Norrköping and Legia Warszawa SA. ASEC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Right to Dream with 0-3. In the Final, Right to Dream won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play off A in Gothia Trophy (B17). ASEC also participated in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the Semi final in B17E Play off A, but lost it against Right to Dream with 3-4. ASEC comes from Abidjan which lies approximately 6000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
