Halcones Mexico

Halcones Mexico was one of 13 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Halcones Mexico, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Halcones Mexico could be found in Group 1 together with Kinetic Academy, IFK Falköping FF Vit and Aneby SK/Bälaryds IK. Halcones Mexico continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Västerås SK Fotboll with 0-2. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Halcones Mexico comes from MEXICO which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MEXICO does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Mexico Elite FC, CA Intercups Mexico, CLUB REFORMA, Intercups MX, A.S. México, Paris-Jilo and Santos Laguna CDMX).
